| Project: Posters For: Signes Cotidiens Exhibition, Centre Culturel Suisse, Paris Date: Summer 2005 Design: Lex Trüb Signes Cotidiens was an exhibition about recent and contemporary design-production in switzerland. Almost all the graphic designers invited to this exhibition descided to produce some exclusive work for this exhibition, instead of showing work from the near past. Thereby we refused to show retrospective applied art in the context of an art-museum. I made a poster representing the announcement of an appointment at the Eiffel tower in 2008, which was originally initiated by the conceptual artist Jonathan Monk. The poster comes off from a roll and is meant to be taken out of the museum again/home by the visitor. At the same time the poster was hung outside in the street. |
